Re: Life as a NewYorker

Watched AudiJeevitam The Goat Life on Netflix. Certainly, a heart-touching film based on true story of a Saudi Migrant.

Re: New movies from OTT

Watched Hilbilly Elegy on Netflix. It is the life story of JD Vance. Gives some insight into Middle America problems and why he was picked too. But inspiring how he rose from those circumstances and respect for Usha to stand by a guy like that. It must have been tough for Indian parents to accept SI...

We should get boca in here and have him post random scientific news etc. There were some passionate diaries in that forum, R2i2019, CMK..., RRS, etc. I seem to not recollect some of the ids' bu...

Re: R2I 2025 April

Good luck with your move wd40. But is Indore comparable to Bangalore? There are many comparable cities like Pune that have Hindi as first language and might have similar ecosystem to Bangalore. I agree though having to deal with learning Kannada might be frustrating for your daughter along with all ...

Re: Life as a NewYorker

My children also live and work in NYC. We have a couple of apartments (condos) in Manhattan. Residential Real Estate is unique in NYC where the purchase price has not gone up in the last 3-4 years, however the rents have soared up in the last 2 years. For young adults : Manhattan, Brooklyn, Hoboken...
