Re: Billionaire Rippling founder in divorce trouble

Not only in men in India. It’s same story with Indian men in US especially if they have assets in India. Even men in US go through similar problem. My ex-boss (white) was living with his wife, 1 kid and a dog in a big 4 bed SFH in South Bay. This was in the 90s. After few years went through a divor...

Re: Billionaire Rippling founder in divorce trouble

Sad indeed, however that’s the story with majority men in India due to failed marriage. Was heartbroken by the man today at traffic stop ;) ( it’s fictional image , however summarizes the situation) … https://i.imgur.com/TuIqlqJ.jpeg Not only in men in India. Re: Billionaire Rippling founder in divorce trouble

Not even a passing mention of him on Rippling's web site - the guy is stuck having to pay almost 10 C monthly based on tech valuation that can lose 80-90% anytime and won't be able to keep up the payments. Maybe Dhivya wants a lumpsum instead since I believe one-time alimony is not taxed in India! ...

Re: Amazing India

Many of my friends and one relative went for Maha Kumbh. I was invited but declined. 10 million people visit the small town every day. I avoid temples where you have to stand in que for 4 hours like Tirupati or Vaishno Devi. For Maha Kumbh one has to walk for 4-6 hours. I go to normal temples as I ...

Re: Purpose of life

I disagree with you. I will take my own example and in my sample data I know many "like me". In terms of talent , I'm you nothing extraordinary ( no IIT degree or FAANG job ). Simple desi middle class life that too in Texas. To give you a comparison, I'm not SAPPRO, Rbee , OS2, Cantor . T...

Re: Purpose of life

I FiREd in May 2020 and I have no issues in following a routine and killing time. Days, weeks and months vanish into thin air. The only time I had issues with killing time was on my visit to India since I was not able to continue my routine. I echo this. I did the same in 2020 September for persona...
