Well, it has been exactly two months since R2iClubForums site went down, any further updates from those trying to fix the problem?. Happy to see some of you here, thank you JINSAKAI and Lakshya.

OS2 and RRS would know better but they have not joined here so far yet; may be they are too busy helping the team fixing that site

In my humble view, I don't think it is coming back atleast not in its previous glory with all posts/threads.

So we have 32 members here so far, and more might join in coming weeks.

Treat this as nation building exercise led by JRL (Jinsakai, RBee and Lakshya) and spread this site through words of mouth
that first 50 members are platinum members, next 50 gold and so on

Sumuji, Archanaji, DesBhaktji join us

There is one more good news, previous R2I members get their "Stars" back (actually Gems to be more precise as the posts corresponds to "Gems of Wisdom") , no need to grind again

One can't take IPL exploits to automatically shine in the world cup! Stars are good but should be earned and not transferred. Maybe a bunch of IF-THEN-ELSEIF statements or whatever else they use these days.

Was against reservation system in India as well as people inheriting millions without any hard work !

If you want to display star, have everyone who joins to have one star and star count goes up for every 100 posts or 100 thanks received and max is 5 stars

Members like mcr, submarine are value posters and who might not post much but when they post, their posts are valuable, so they deserve stars !

Implemented the Star Earning Systems, the value based metrics is ideal, however members like JINSAKAI who doesn’t add any value would suffer heavily

Site is now up for 2 weeks but we still see only 36 members so far.

Looks like voters of Bengalore have influenced to have this lukewarm response so far . Was hoping for more regulars to signup like boca,FIREIndia, RRS, OS2, cantor, r2somewhere, Kahlo, Myroots etc; may be they do not miss the forum as much as who signed up here do !!
