This guy was supposed to have been the Attorney General! He did all this with that face, surely there must have been an additional hazard pay for all those women. (Pardon my Trump-style, you know I am just being a straight-shooter)

This guy needs some basic civic lessons - he should know that if there is a prime minister, president is just a dummy that gets to live in a yuuge house like Rashtrapati Bhavan/ White house(?)!

I think they should change constitution to allow Elon to be the presidentSAPPORO wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 9:59 am https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congre ... rcna185165

Is the constitution still a thing? The trick for the next few decades would be enact all kinds of crazy laws and all that needs to be done is to bring it to SCOTUS that would invariably uphold it. If Musk becomes the president, Trump should become the emperor since it's for the lifetime and dynastical.JINSAKAI wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 12:17 pmI think they should change constitution to allow Elon to be the presidentSAPPORO wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 9:59 am https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congre ... rcna185165

they are just more transparent in their dealings. Democrats are completely driven by big names like Soros who define and execute the agenda.JINSAKAI wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 12:17 pmI think they should change constitution to allow Elon to be the presidentSAPPORO wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 9:59 am https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congre ... rcna185165

I guess the right word is blatant and not transparent. Soros spends money on leftist ideas like civil liberties, gun control and LGBTQ rights unlike Musk who is using his influence to further his own interests like scrapping Tesla crash reporting and removing EV credits for other manufacturers and so on.Returning_Indian wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 8:42 pm they are just more transparent in their dealings. Lobbying a.k.a bribing is legal in US. You are misdirecting your complaint on Musk for your dislike of Trump. Soros and alike do lot more than funding liberal camps. They influence elections of candidates who favor their policies and agendas. Soros is a classic example on how he influences policies and politicians to make money. And he is not the only one. So this happens on both sides. Atleast musk is vocal on what he wants to achieve with US in mind unlike Soros etcSAPPORO wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 9:53 pmI guess the right word is blatant and not transparent. Lobbying is legal but actual beneficiaries of lobbying running the govt is illegal, even though it's not so in current admin. The age-old approach to rationalizing criminality is to say that everyone does it and so I am doing it. It's interesting that Musk himself was in fact a big supporter of Dems and Biden in 2020, and he got no preferential treatment in return for his own company but only policies beneficial to the EV industry.Returning_Indian wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 1:56 am Lobbying a.k.a bribing is legal in US. Musk knows he has a puppet in his hands and so got all-in this time with $300M and has the gall to sink a bipartisan funding bill with just tweets, only because it does not suit his interests in China.
As an American, it hurts, it may not be so much for Indians.

“No, he’s not going to be president, that I can tell you,” Trump proclaimed. “And I’m safe. You know why? He can’t be. He wasn’t born in this country. But the fake news knows that.”
LOL - why can't he use at least 1% of his normal bluster and say "I am the president because people voted for me" instead of going defensive and saying "He can't be president because he was not born here"!
