Biden picked Kamala as his running mate for these reasons;
1.She was vetted on the national stage due to her own 2020 bid and showed that she can debate on all national and international issues
2.She had experience in government – as both the California attorney general and as a US senator since 2017
3.She was 22 years younger than him representing a younger generation as leader which was major factor for his pick
4.She was mix of Black and South Asian American woman and first one to appear on a major party’s national ticket
5.Being from California, she was sure to brings funds from wealthy Democratic donors
6.She emerged as an outspoken voice on race especially during BLM turmoil

If some chalk it as she rose to prominence just by playing woman’s card, they are utterly wrong IMO!!

I don’t see anything wrong in her communication and if you think ‘white male’ have higher ceiling for better communication, look at Trump :D :D

If Kamala Ma’am joins the forum , the reply may be :D
There is a problem with white male, they always have easier life and can not easily digest success of other lesser mortals. Take case of Sir Newton', if he had less privileged background like me , he would have been under a coconut tree ( pls search for Coconut Harris) instead of apple tree. Of course he would not have survived fall of coconut. And there goes the discovery of the gravity to heaven. Hence context matters than everything else, it begins with context and ends with context; everything else is mittya. On a given good day I could explain origins of the universe using just Venn Diagrams, and not only that all combinations of genders can be explained using the Venn Diagrams.

Biggest white privilege in America is not apples over coconuts, it's not getting one's head blown off by law enforcement until after they try to blow someone else's head off!

I think she is a better choice than Biden and brings lot of energy to the Dems side. Trump or her represent US to the rest of the world and there is nothing wrong with expecting the best from them. I won't be surprised if she wins by a landslide. I feel the country is looking for a change from the same old white man ruling the country.

JD - JD!! JD wants to set up check points at state lines to nab abortion fugitives, JD says it's imperative that women stay even in violent relationships to make and raise babies and then the viral cat-ladies video - even Usha's great-grandpa in rural India might be more modern in thinking than this guy!
The question now is, will T fire him or is it too late?!

Are these old statements or are they new? If new, is he just firing up the MAGA base? I don't get this uber-christian messaging post-nomination. I thought he was meant to be the "economic populist" talking about workers and evil corporations to get that rust belt swing voter.

JD is way weirder than I initially thought - stalking Kamala at the airport tarmac and this answer to a simple question that's asked to every political candidate.

DNC done and dusted. Can't believe it's been only a month since the "Great Bandage show"! KH has done amazingly well in such a short time and kudos to her and her campaign.
If Trump can have a gala award ceremony for the J6 rioters that stormed the capitol, why can't DNC have another event right before the election with Taylor Swift and Beyonce?
I hope America has enough nice normal folks to ensure Donny gets defeated.

I was somewhat skeptical of a KH candidacy (not doubting her ability to govern, but to campaign and get votes) - so far looks like she held it together pretty well.

Her VP pick Tim Walz is also solid.
