I saw a clip on CNN in which Tucker Carlson was saying (actually he was screaming) that US needs to go back to a time when dad used to come home and vigorously spank his teenage daughter for being a 'bad girl'. They then cut into Trump who spoke after Tucker saying 'Yes, I am coming home..'
So big daddy Trump is coming home to spank Americans who does not behave!
It is really unbelievable that such an obnoxious, corrupt and a sexual predator is most likely going to win!

If the possibility of becoming a Tincel does not scare young male voters, the fact that Project 2025 banning porn should definitely scare them. Trump has seen and done it all and now he wants to police his cultists :)

All this red meat is to feed his male cultists. Tucker was supposedly referring to America itself as a "bad girl". Add this to ranting in awe of the 'full MAGA man' Arnold Palmer's genitalia for 12 minutes.

I didn't obviously write this, but my thoughts are on the same lines. I would have added the reference to of https://www.history.com/news/operation- ... eportation during which even US citizens of Mexican origin were deported.

I read somewhere that current polling indicates that 61% of Indian Americans support KH while 32% support Trump, with the rest undecided. That's still significantly higher support for Trump than I expected.

Indian-American Trump voters are quite ironic, to say the least. I have spoken to some of them. Most of them would not dare to even go anywhere close to a house with Trump signs or anyone wearing Trump paraphernalia, but somehow vote for him!

There are some who think abortion is a non-issue since no one in their family might need one, so they think. Doctors are already scared of lawsuits in the US, imagine them being scared of the government as well, should a complicated pregnancy happen to their loved ones.

There are others who think Trump is going to save them on taxes, which may be valid but still up in the air with the recent Trump ramblings about eliminating the income taxes altogether. We do make decent money, but nothing compared to multi-millionaires and billionaires who won't pay any taxes and imagine who's going to be left holding the bag. I would rather take tax cuts from someone like Bush and Obama who extended Bush's tax cuts.

There are others who run small businesses, (read Gujaratis) that are almost certain to support Trump. All of them rely on undocumented labor including but not limited from India, Mexico and they may have to shut down if Trump comes knocking their doors. Yes, there may be some paperwork and regulations under Dems but it's just paperwork and ultimately regulations save them from costly lawsuits by consumers.

Some don't like Muslims and think Trump is their friend since he hates Muslims - God save us if something like 9/11 happens since we look no different from any Muslim just like Sardarjis looked like Bin Laden back in 2001. Supporting BJP in India need not translate to supporting Trump since they are a majority group in India and an insignificant minority in the US.

There are a few that are scared of WW3 and imagine Trump to be like Rajnikanth/Sunny Deol that he can stop it all by himself. In fact, Trump is going to destabilize NATO that was formed after WW2 to prevent WW3 from happening.

One thing most Indian- Americans agree on is gun control but somehow, they think it always happens to someone else but never to them.

There are others that say Trump is a barking dog that will never bite which was valid in 2016. But now, there are no limits to his craziness since even the SCOTUS has given him full immunity and he has a lot of scores to settle against the likes of Kambala, Nimarata and the likes. Even people like Jeff Bezos are scared of retribution from Trump and the average Americans have no chance.

The answer to the cliched question of "Are you better off now compared to 4 years ago?" by an overwhelming majority of Desis would be a resounding Yes since they are making more money, equity investments are at record highs, the home equity probably quadrupled and so on. Granted, groceries might be costing a few hundred dollars more monthly but that's just a drop in the bucket.
Why upset the applecart? Stay with the status quo since Trump is too many risks with no appreciable returns for Desis!

Selzer Poll in Iowa puts KH ahead of Trump in Iowa

This is pretty good news even if she doesn't end up winning IA.

Difference between polls and election is number of people voting. Discouraged by the selection of candidates, most get discouraged and do not vote. So what matters now is how many for each show up to actually vote. Going by energy, Trump voters are more likely to turn up than democrats. If I was a voter I would have stayed home than to bother to choose between two bad candidates.

One thing I know is that Europe is really worried about Trump getting elected. Trump would get America out these useless wars. With Harris US would still be involved in the unnecessary spending on these two wars.

Selzer poll is the gold standard and is a leading indicator of the Midwest results and consequently Harris presidency. I was watching it as the betting markets flipped and moved towards Harris significantly as these polls dropped last night at 7.
Seniors are tired of Trump antics and moving towards Harris, in addition to other usual groups like female, minority and youth voters. I hope that there are enough normal people in the US to ensure Trump get defeated.
