There are no QFs. There is a super eights stage out of which top four play in the semifinals.
The cheapest semifinal tickets were $25 when I bought them in February, and they are going for $200 now and maybe $2000 if it turns out to be Ind Vs Pak Semifinal. (My own little GME trade!) If interested, be sure to buy the SF in Guyana and not the other one since should India make it to the semis, they will be playing in Guyana.

All the thousands of dollars down the drain. It seems like it's going to be about survival and not six-hitting!

Ticket prices need to be slashed for matches in NY since they are turning out to be short Hollywood movies instead of Bollywood movies on a dicey pitch. Haven't started watching the matches yet, first need to get used to impact without "impact players' and strategy without 'strategic' timeouts!

What a great shocking win and a triple treat for me! Pak losing, US winning minus the anxiety of watching an India Vs Pak match!
Pak was run ragged on the field and never had the match under control. Great running between the wickets by the USA batters in the super over. Pak is notorious for losing to minnows like Bangladesh, Afghanistan and now USA in world cup tournaments. Anything can happen in T20 cricket and the one thing that can save India from similar shocks is the "spicy as ghost pepper" pitch in NY where they are going to play all their first-round games and surely Indian bowlers would bundle out at least the minnows for cheap scores! If India beat Pak, USA will have a great chance to make it to the super-8!

USA made it to the super eight stage thanks partly to monster rains in south Florida. Not bad for the team that gets paid $250 a day and $100 for per diem, what a great ROI!
India should have it easy in the next stage facing Afg, BD/Scotland and AUS whereas USA might end up playing SA, WI and England. Hopefully India makes my trip worth it by getting to the SF.

Good match today, but USA fell short. Thought SA would choke again but Rabada was too good for USA.

As of now, leaving for the semifinals. Most likely Aus Vs Eng and India vs SA, too bad I might miss the real wrestling match on June 27th on CNN!

Have fun .. agree with your predictions.
The wrestling match of oldies .. won't be surprised if one of them collapses before it is all over :)

Afghanistan makes it to the semis.
They are last to join the last 4 (India will face England, South Africa to face Afghanistan).

England and Afghanistan might reach finals if unbeaten teams choose to take it easy in SF :)

Glad that opposite happened and India is there with SA.
Hopefully Virat will fire in the final.
Don't think he will be around for 2026.
