Agree with that. But the content we had there is pure gold. Some of the r2i diaries were nothing short of a treasure. I wish we could get those back and upload them here. But after that, we got it from here.

Why can't the hangout members chip in and buy the website from the current owner assuming it's salvageable? If I were the owner, I wouldn't mind offloading it for whatever I can get since it ain't making any money now!

I don't have the technical chops to resuscitate the old site back to life, but if someone here is upto it - I would love to pitch in.

I don’t agree with OS2 that people were approached. I was never approached by anyone. My complaint is with the original mgmt team.
Mgmt team had stopped contributing 2016 onwards. They knew who were regular contributors that made the site to stay relevant on a daily basis and those were the ones who had the good interest of the forum’s well being. Content is the king for free or paid forums.
Should have created a private group with those members and asked them each to see if there was interest to maintain the site.

Jinsakai/OS2/Boca are now in that whatsapp group. What is cooking there? :)

I was made a member of moderator group called TMT which probably lasted 3 or 4 months in 2014; That time also there was no specific guidelines from mgmt team on how to deal with complaints :)

Not much action in the WhatsApp group, may be I should start posting memes there too :)

This forum developed by you is much better unless there is a massive restore of my close to 10K posts and the other million useful posts is going on :)
