Tried watching Pradeeps of Pittsburgh but could not after 20 minutes. Had high hopes since Vijal Patel from
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Middle_(TV_series) wrote this. Bad acting, bad plot, bad screenplay!
Talking about "The middle" show, it's one of my favorite shows and it depicts the life of a typical American family tracking the kids from KG to college graduation and beyond. Anyone planning to move to the US, should first watch this to get an idea of what awaits them, and it can save them from a lot of dilemmas afterwards!

Watched "Freedom at Midnight" on SonyLiv. It is based on book written by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapiere. Read this way back in 1987, it took them 37 years to make a movie out of it.
It is ok, watchable if you are interested in what happened during those turbulent years between 1946-47 and politics that surrounded Indian independence. But the book was more interesting and descriptive. For tv they had to shorten it to fit in 7 installments.
Funny as they showed Jodhpur Palace as Viceroy's Palace (Rashtrapati Bhawan) of Delhi. May be the director did not get permission to shoot inside RPB.
Where are they, Fermi ?

Quite interesting watch, Joe Rogan’s vibe is like a clueless toddler in kindergarten

( Now I don’t feel ashamed much

Finished Patal Lok S2.
This is one of the series which had best sequels from totally different crime scene this time.
Jaideep is one hell of an actor. Tilottama Shome was good too.
They kept the suspense nice till the end but 2 things could have been improved.
There were 2 more orphans who could have benefitted from the windfall:
1. - The girl who is raised by foster mother
- The Monkey boy whose mother (SP Barua) gets killed
2. Clarity on did he leave the police force or changed his mind after picking the money that his work can help the poor

Aap tho philanthropist nikli.. i had to scratch my head to figure out who the girl with the foster mother was.. and then yes i got it.. i would have wanted him to take the whole 2 Cr and retire from police force.. he had anyways replaced the hawala note with another torn note in the evidence.. what is the point of enriching the hawala dealer.. he could have nicely funded sidhu's education in australia, bought his wife some nice stuff! and flashed a porsche or land rover in his saala's face. anyhoo..
Black warrant was a really nice watch in Netflix..

Sirji, I just need to append my list of watch with your recommendations

Yes, I agree. I liked it too. Zahan Kapoor is a grandson of Shashi Kapoor. Though he doesn’t have the good looks/charisma of his grandpa, he does have the acting chops.
Vikramaditya Motwane is turning to be very good director in OTT space.
Sacred Games, Jubilee and now Black Warrant.
His directorial credits movies were good too Udaan, Lootera, Trapped etc but he didn’t taste box office success or notable awards !

Saw India vs Pakistan cricket series web documentary on Netflix. Good for cricket aficionados. I still do not feel that India should play with Pakistan unless they stop terrorism towards India. They need to be isolated internationally. Even now they are trying to bring militancy in Bangladesh and spread it in India from eastern border. Shoaib Akhtar was the one talking about Gazwa e hind at one point in a video. Afridi was trying to incite violence in Kashmir. Same for Miandad. All these Pakistanis just want an entry into IPL otherwise they hold the views of terrorists and make India unstable. Thanks to Shiv Sena type people we have boycotted them completely.
