Coupled with the illegal migrants, they are the most important contributors to the population growth. Stunting population growth is a surefire way to bring down the country's economy.

Personally, what would happen to my social life with all the baby shower, naming and cradle ceremonies in my neighborhood dwindling?
Do Indians in Dubai not procreate? I dont think this will affect anything.

We can also join the ranks of South Korea, Japan and much of Europe by passing Xenophobic laws and later on complaining about the population decline.
The next steps for the US are pretty clear. Once they brutalize non whites at home, they will go after them abroad. They are already after Panama and Greenland. Next steps - US navy will show up on the shores of nations abroad demanding they open trade access -like they did with Japan in the 1800s.

When two tech CEOs fight, they fight through tweets/posts :)

Most of silicon valley titans were there for Trump’s inauguration. All of them contributed too.

Not ironic that same guys were vouching for Biden too :)

Good point -Indian kids in Dubai, Singapore etc.., walk like an Indian, talk like an Indian and are practically Indians. Not the case with the US born kids and so there would be reluctance on the part of the procreators to bring in another life with more uncertainties than they themselves face.

There are reports of women wanting to induce labor or c-section prior to 19feb. What's wrong with people. I never understood the desperate need of citizenship or coming to US illegally. Especially from peaceful place like India. Even with no skills, you can work hard and make atleast 50k per month. This provides for decent living. Even food delivery guys make 25-40k per month. Women in Gurgaon are driving cabs. For a couple they can bring in decent money. There is shortage of semi-skilled labor. I cannot find someone to fix the tiling work in my place as it's too small for their efforts and they are busy at bigger contracts. Instead of going through the ridiculous life of illegal why not work hard here itself. And to risk life of your baby for a piece of paper is just plain silly.

This is typical reason why desis have kids. They are an extension of competition and status chasing. If Sharma ji's beta is USC and your Bunty is Indian passport holder, it will be a matter of shame. Hence the rush to c-section.

That’s horrible and outright illegal, I doubt doctors would allow it though. If true that’s just modern day “House of dragons” 😟

I was not able to find this news on the main stream and reliable portals like AP News, Reuters, BBC etc.

All most all of the links are from India and original report was on TOI; TOI’s article was the only source cited in India Today, Hindustan Times, MSN India etc.

How reliable is the original source? TOI is not known for its integrity in last 2 decades.

If parents are legal immigrants with temp visas like H1/J1/L1 etc, they will get the coverage through their employers and get to adjust status of their new borns when parents get GC/USC. They will pester their Ob/Gyn to deliver early risking the health of mother/baby seems like unreliable news because IMO newly expectant couple’s foremost worry is healthy delivery of the baby and post natal coverage by medical insurers and least worry on birth citizenship. Only if they are here illegally and were hoping to become legal through their kids, I find it believable.

Anyway birth right citizenship executive order is challenged by multiple states and it won’t be implemented without significant legal fight.

GC takes 100+ years now.
