So if 856/day were deported during Biden era, were those criminals?

Also for a country trying to increase working age population, is 856X365= 312,440 such a burden?
I don't want any one of them to be deported. I want them to be legalized tax-paying residents. I was just pointing out T's bluster and how he's taking "poorly educated" Americans for a ride!
Americans, especially right wingers, love virtue signaling. Their virtue is cruelty towards unluckier people.

yes Americans would do the jobs as wages will go up. It's not that Americans are not willing to do hard work. It's the wage that matters. This whole theory that Americans are not willing is fabricated agenda. Illegals should be deported and if country needs they can import workers legally. Otherwise, it's a slap on the faces of people who slog through the legal system.

Alternatively, congress can just pass the laws to make it open borders without any numbers capping it. Let everyone have equal opportunity to enter.

No fabricated agenda. Proven facts from people who prepare these stats as a FT job.

CA contributes 1/3 of the fruits/vegetables grown in US and if not these workers, we will be importing everything from outside like how UAE does :(

Americans freaked out over a little inflation and people expect they will pay 50,000 a year to Stacy or Kevin to pick fruits and then pay $20 per apple lol

The demand for cheap farm labor has been there at least since 1940s.
Lest the Americans learn from history as in Bracero program and the despicable operation wetback, GOP needs to keep them poorly educated so much so that they now want to tax college scholarships just to pay for tax cuts to their buddies.

Trump "pauses" enforcement of US law forbidding bribery of foreign officials because "it's good for business."

Should go a step further and also pause the law on bribing domestic officials - should be even better for business.

But MAGA is going gaga over Trump signing executive order saving plastic straws - stranger than fiction!

A personal request for a new executive action to Mr.T!
My pet peeve is that every time I have to select the country on online forms, I have to always scroll all the way down to the bottom to choose 'United States'. For God sakes, Afghanistan comes up first - either change the name of the country starting with AA, AB, AC, AD, AE or at least change the official name of the country to just 'America' to make it to the top 4.

How about 1America? It'll always show up at the top and we can be No. 1
