It's not surprising - don't some Desis schedule C-sections to get the perfect kundli (horoscope) for their progenies? now they're doing it for arguably perfect citizenship for their kids. But the expectation that their kids can get them GC when they turn 21 is silly since it's a long way off and their kids have to be making enough income to support their parents, which maybe much later.

Better option would to be divorce Desi Spouse and marry non-desi one for faster GC , no need to wait 21 years
