Amazing rescue act by Ashwin and Jadeja, both heavily under-rated and under-appreciated cricketers. They usually earn their own rewards in terms of rest by finishing the test matches in 3-3.5 days, hopefully they repeat it in Chennai as well.

Sensational win by India at Kanpur in 2 days with almost 3 days abandoned due to rain. Gone are the days of Gavaskar staging a Dharna on the pitch so he could sneak in a century in a dull drawn test!

India is doing well in terms of team performance. It's wins are not based on any one individual performance. It's whole team coming together. With Kohli and Rohit probably gone soon will only give more strength to the top order. India really needs consistency in the top 5 batting which is missing for very long time now. Fast bowling for India has improved significantly, thanks to Bumrah. Hopefully Shammi will make super comeback like Pant. Real test would obviously be when India travels to SENA countries. Right now we are tigers at home. It was good to see Bangladesh thrashed. An indirect lesson for Pakistan.

India rocks in test cricket including in SENA - we won the last two series in Aus and can't wait for the next one this winter!

What a serious humiliation for Pak and a great exhibition of bazball. Pak lost the test in spite of scoring 556 runs in their first innings! WTC is doing wonders for test cricket making them results-oriented.

46 all out. Wow. Have no words. I guess these players need to come back and play in Kanpur. These conditions are too harsh.

I would not bet against India in India! I was reminded of the test below and something like that could repeat. India was shot out for 83 by NZ in the first innings and in the second innings made 505/3 and almost won the test.

Great comeback by India in spite of the late collapse scoring 462 runs in the second innings - more than 10 times their first innings score, must be some kind of record. Now, they have a decent chance of winning and if they lose, it would be because of an NRI (Rachin)! Great gutsy knocks by Sarfaraz and Pant.

Yest, it was Rachin, the player of the match. Interesting that Kiwis last won a test in India in 1988 - well before anyone knew about RAhul and saCHIN after whom Rachin is named!

What a disaster - India lost to CSK (Conway, Ravindra and Santner) in the second test match and with it the first series loss in a dozen years. Indian batters don't know how to play spin and their only shot at winning at home is to have flat pitches. It's high time for Rohit and Kohli to retire as they did from T20Is. India needs to probably bring back Pujara and groom Ruturaj/Prithvi for the future.
