Modi has started saying that congress will snatch mangala sutras from Hindu women and give it away to infiltrators and 'people with a lot of kids' (aka Muslims). He did not do this in 2019 and most of the Muslim hate speeches were delegated to other fire brand BJP leaders.
Why is he doing it now? Does he think he is not doing great in polls?

This is exactly why BJP will not win a single seat in TN probably forever - Tamils are crazy about their language, castes, movie stars and cricket but not much about hatred towards other religions.

Annamalai needs to step in and make the agenda more Tamil voter friendly. I thought he was already doing a good job there.

BJP/NDA will come back to power.

400 paar is not possible. They abolished Art 370, so will get around 370 seats. They should have abolished Art 401 or 410 to get "ab ki baar 400 paar".

Modi 3.0 is going to bury Cong and other sickuliar, Leftist, Jihadi and Naxal loving parties. AAP is the first one to go under, next on the radar will be TMC. ED/CBI will raid TMC goons/netas for Sandeshkali and other scams after election. Hope to see Mumtaz Banerjee in jail in 6 months.

In TN, BJP/allies may win around 5 seats and 2 in Kerala, in the best case. BJP total will be around 320 and NDA will be around 350. Expect some changes to legal system, UCC, one nation one election and more crackdown on corruption/hawala. High chances of RaGa going to jail for NH case.

Third term Modi will be preparing his successor - could be Shah or Yogi.

NDA will most likely get the majority, but 400 or even 370 is highly unlikely. Even the Vishwaguru seems to think so as for the last few weeks he has removed his 'development' mask and showing up everywhere as 'Hindu hridaysamrat' scaring the hell our of Hindus saying things like if Congress wins they will take mangala sutras from Hindu women and give those to Muslims. Is this what he has to say after ruling the country for 10 years? Look at the pathetic way they allowed Janardhan Reddy to rejoin BJP just for the sake of few votes. He is probably one of the most corrupt politicians who looted mineral resources worth thousands of crores and spent time in jail. Talk about corruption crackdown! The recent Hassan MP scam which involves rape and sexual assault on hundreds of women, a local BJP leader had sent detailed information to top BJP leaders including Shah, but still the PM attended a rally with him and asked people to vote for him.

BJP is trying to annihilate AAP, but if you remember how Modi came to power in 2014, it was Kejriwal (and Anna Hazare)'s relentless attack on Congress government that bought Man Mohan Singh's government and Modi was the benefactor. It is not to say Modi did not win votes on his own, but Kejriwal has a big role in Congress's defeat. Then in 2019 Modi got a big boost from the Pulwama attacks which raised nationalistic fervor in the country. The very carefully choreographed Ram temple inauguration in March was supposed to do the trick in 2024, but it doesn't seem to have worked as they expected. That is why we are seeing Vishwaguru going around town scaring the hell out of Hindus.
President Murmu was kept our of Ram temple inauguration probably because Modi had to share at least some of the limelight with the president as per protocol. But there were also some who reasoned that the temple priests did not want a backward class adivasi in the temple 'Garbha Gudi' on the day of pran pratrhisthan (not sure how true this was). But anyways, just a couple of days back BJP made Murmu travel to Ayodhya temple and circulated photos widely as part of damage control exercise.

All this shows that BJP knows the reality on ground is not very much in their favor like it was in the last 2 elections. Look at how they orchestrated the election schedule by stretching it to 7 phases in almost 1.5 months so that Modi can campaign in all the important states and constituencies.
(TN and Kerala where BJP does not have too much hopes, elections were held in just one phase. UP will vote in 7 phases!!)

Also wanted to add one more thing which many may have noticed. The 'anti-corruption' BJP party which invented the 'operation lotus' technique where MLAs from other parties are purchased to form government, has quietly conducted a POC for a new kind of operation lotus technique in this elections. In two constituencies Surat and Indore BJP won unopposed as all other candidates including the congress candidates withdrew their nominations at the last minute leaving BJP the lone candidate. BJP may say the other candidates withdrew on their own and we did not have any role, but very few people will believe that.

So coming to states and constituencies near you very soon, new form of operation lotus which is conducted even before the votes are cast!

Prajwal Ravanna is a MP from Hassan and he is accused of abusing his power and sexually assaulting hundreds of women and also filming the act on his phone. As per media reports there are nearly 3000 videos involving hundreds of women and the victims range from government officers to house maids and from 16 years to 60 year olds. They say many of these incidents appear to be consensual, but some appears to be cases of rape. Three victims have come forward and filed police complaint so far, one of them is a 50 year old house maid who has accused both the MP and his father (local MLA) of sexual assault, another one is a elected Zilla panchayat member who has accused him of rape at gun point. No information the 3rd victim who has filed complaint. Overall this guy appears to be a sick psychopath who should spend the rest of his life in prison. So far police have arrested his MLA father as he tried to have one of the victims kidnapped. No sign of the MP so far, some say he is in Dubai and some say he is in Hungary, but he will be arrested as soon as he lands in India.

So why did BJP/JDS gave ticket this this guy? Apparently a local lawyer and BJP leader who was in possession of these videos had written to BJP leaders in Delhi and Bangalore about this and asked them not to give him ticket. Even H D Kumaraswamy (MP's uncle) was not in favor of giving him ticket. But it was the MPs mother who fought and forced her father-in-law H D Devegowda to give him the ticket.
(He is widely believed to lose the elections as these videos were made public a few days before voting. Even if he wins he will most probably disqualified as JDS has already suspended him from the party).

It's all about the "trending" symbol and its leader than the candidates themselves in India, so switching parties is to be expected. No primaries, no digging of candidate's past, heck even the candidates are announced just 2 weeks before the elections, with this even Revanna guy might also win resoundingly.
